This was a fairly challenging and unusual job. Colin approached us about the idea of making a postcard book, where each graduating student would have their own card with an image of one of their pieces on one side and descriptive text on the back. It was challenging because we had to bind a book whose pages where made of the same thickness of stock as the cover. In addition to that we also have to figure out a way to perfect bind them as well as ensure that the postcards could tear out. It’s hard to see from the pictures but we perforated each card roughly 0.25″ away from the spine in order to allow them to tear out easily. Really neat piece, the cover just grabs the eye!!
