Full disclosure, we released this album ourselves and as such felt obliged to have fun and get elaborate. We made a score insert for Jeremy’s previous project Feuermusik and his arranging is just so brilliant we couldn’t resist doing it for the first release from his latest project. The booklet is actually tipped-in (glued in place) to the side of the jacket so the whole package acts as a booklet. The bronze foil stamping added a really classy touch. The overall concept is an obvious homage to Reid Miles’ covers for Blue Note records, something we’ve always wanted to do. And, well, gosh, this one got us a Juno nomination!
